How to use the random number wheel

    1. The wheel starts with 1 to 10. Use "Fill with" to switch to any range, such as 1 to 50 or 1 to 100, then press Fill.
    2. Press SPIN to pick a number.
    3. Tick "Remove winner after each spin" for a draw with no repeats, such as picking raffle ticket numbers.

    Good for

    • Choosing a raffle or bingo number
    • Deciding who answers which question in class
    • Picking a page number or chapter at random
    • Board games when you have lost the dice

    Tips

    • "Fill with" stops at 500 entries, and big wheels get hard to read. For 1 to 1000 or more, use the Number Picker instead.
    • Hit Shuffle first if you want the numbers in a random order around the wheel. It does not change the odds.

    FAQ

    Is every number equally likely?

Yes, unless you add weights. Winners come from the browser's cryptographic random generator.

Can I pick negative numbers or letters?

You can type any entries you like. "Fill with" does whole numbers in either direction, and A to Z for letters.
